Research Participation Notice
Short version: this is voluntary research about how work gear fits. You can skip questions, you can stop, and your measurements are not shown to your employer.
Effective date: September 3, 2026
Taking part is your choice
Nobody has to take part. Your employer cannot require you to fill out these forms through this site, and choosing not to take part costs you nothing.
Why we are asking
We want to understand how personal protective equipment and work gear actually fit women in the trades — hard hats and safety helmets, safety glasses and eye protection, high-visibility vests, hearing protection, and work gloves — and what people put up with today because nothing fits properly.
What you might share
- Your trade, experience, and general work context.
- How current gear fits and what problems you run into.
- Optional sizing details, measurements, and fit notes if you choose to build a Fit Profile.
- Optional color and style preferences.
- An optional story about your own experience.
- An optional email address if you want follow-up.
Optional questions can be skipped. Blank answers are fine and still useful.
No payment, order, or free gear
Taking part is not paid. It does not place an order, reserve a product, or promise free gear, a discount, or a prototype.
Stopping, correcting, or deleting
You can close the form and stop at any time before you submit — nothing is saved until you submit. After you submit, email us and we will correct or delete your response. See the Privacy Policy for how that works.
How responses are used
Responses are analyzed together, in aggregate or de-identified form, to find patterns — for example how often a size runs long in the fingers, or which category is hardest to fit.
If we ever want to use your name, an identifiable quote, your story, or a photo of you, we will ask you separately and you can say no.
Your employer cannot see your measurements
Measurements, sizing details, fit notes, and private research responses are not visible to employers, HR staff, managers, or coworkers under the current access design. Employer accounts see status only.
Your employer can see
- Invitation status
- Whether your Fit Profile is complete
- Kit / order status
- Shipping and tracking information
Your employer cannot see
- Body measurements
- Sizing details
- Fit notes
- Personal preferences or private responses
Possible future prototype contact
If a prototype-testing stage ever opens, we would only contact you about it if you asked us to by opting in. You can change your mind at any time by emailing us.
